Ma quyên cưới chịu

Chỉ những nỗi lo lớn, những tai hoạ hay cảnh khốn khó của đời người xưa, nhất là các việc hiếu hỉ mà nhà nghèo không đủ sức lo theo lệ tục nên phải mang điều tiếng. Cách nói này dùng biến thể “ma quyên” thay cho “ma quàn”, nhưng vẫn nhấn vào gánh nặng phong tục trong những việc hệ trọng.
